  • Static QR Codes: Static QR code images and SVG rendering are processed locally in your web browser. When you save a static QR code to your account, the code metadata and styling options are stored in your database history for your future access and management. Static codes differ from dynamic codes in that their destination payload is fixed and scans do not route through redirect tracking servers.
  • Dynamic QR Codes & Scan Metrics: For dynamic QR codes, when a end-user scans your QR code, our redirection engine records basic scan metadata: timestamp, browser User-Agent, referring header, and coarse geolocation derived from IP address (country/city level). IP addresses are anonymized and not stored in full.
  • Account Data: If you sign up or upgrade your account, we store your email address, display name, and unique user ID managed securely via encrypted account authentication.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected information for the following specific purposes:

  • To operate and deliver scan redirection for dynamic QR codes.
  • To compile aggregate, real-time scan metrics in your account dashboard.
  • To detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent usage, phishing, or service abuse.

  • Browser LocalStorage: Used locally to save your active draft inputs, selected QR colors, and logo preferences so your work is preserved across tab refreshes.

We rely on enterprise cloud infrastructure providers to run our service securely:

  • Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure: Authentication, database hosting, and serverless functions.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data or scan logs to third-party advertisers.
